English classes in Timor have begun! Alunos com uma variedade de habilidades, de muito iniciante a intermediário, bem como crianças pequenas, juntou -se a nós para um 2 série do mês para melhorar suas habilidades de comunicação em inglês! 😉
On other front, Elizabeth, Uma garota feliz da Austrália, has graciously joined us in Timor to volunteer her time, working as a doctor at the local hospital, and giving health lectures. Her medical knowledge and expertise, as well as her careful bedside manner has brought relief to locals who now better understand their health conditions and various ways to manage them.
Also proficient in music and conducting, she has started a choir in the capital city of Dili to teach 4 part harmony to those eager to sing.
As we continue to share knowledge and skills, we’re reminded of the truth in Psalm 139: we are fearfully and wonderfully made. It is a blessing to share this reminder with the community, knowing that each person is uniquely gifted and has so much to offer.
